Building Order in the Building Company Organization

The subjekt of this bachelor thesis is a description of an organization process in a construction company with application of instruments of management by project. This thesis combines both theoretical and practical aspects. The theoretical introduction into each of the individual problems is followed by practical examples from one particular project. This particular project is construction of a wooden family house in a village of Pustá Polom which is realized by Power Beam s.r.o. company.

The aim of the thesis is to describe an organization of a building order, and to show its key phases. The individual phases of how a order is completed in a company are shown on practical examples. The first two chapters deal with the current situation of today's construction industry; consequently, the reasons for introducing the principles of project management into the construction business practice are mentioned. The third chapter is devoted to the description of a building order. It also presents the construction company that performed the specific order and the actual construction work which is the subject of practical examples of a construction organization. The fourth chapter presents the key milestones in completing the order by the company. Individual sections of a specific order are discussed and confronted with the reality of construction practice, and possible solutions of the discussed issues are also mentioned.

This Master’s thesis evaluates the survey that mapped using management tools in contemporary practice. Respondents were senior and middle management of companies from the Czech Republic. They had to answer what they expect from the tools and what they think about the various claims concerning the parameters of the attractiveness of the market and competition. The survey was focused on portfolio analysis.

9 ABSTRACT This diploma thesis summarizes the theoretical knowledge about the healthcare organization and its management, it also presents history and theories of leadership, the specifics of leadership in the healthcare organization and describes the generations of employees. The main goal of the work focuses on leadership education and training, personal characteristics of leaders, and new tools that are used in leadership. The aim of the thesis is to find current trends in the management of people in healthcare organizations in the Czech Republic. The diploma thesis uses the method of the in-depth interview with the subsequent thematic analysis of acquired data. An in-depth interview was conducted with six respondents; managers of small and medium-sized healthcare organizations. The thematic analysis examines the education and leadership of healthcare organizations, deals with the styles and tools used in leadership in recent years, and also shows whether and what kind changes in leadership are anticipated by senior executives in future years when a new generation of workers is emerging. The results of the analysis show that the education of managers of healthcare organizations in the field of management is still inadequate. IT management models comparison

This bachelor thesis is focused on comparison of two currently most used methodic of information management, namely IT Governance and IT Service Management. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part there are mapped approaches of information management methodologies IT Governance and IT Service Management. Thereinafter there are described regulations, which affect the management itself, and tools, which can be used for information management. In the second part there are compared approaches of methodologies to information management, their processes and approaches to them. There are also compared their metrics. At the end of the second part there is an assessment of how to use both methodologies together.
